Bringing a Building Back to Life

Today's Snapshot answers the question to yesterday's.

In we challenged you to identify the location of our photo (of a painted wall) and said that today we would reveal a very interesting news tip about the new owners of that building.

Well, that building is on the corner of Garrett Avenue and Conestoga Road in Garrett Hill and is home to the new restaurant, the . Formerly Brothers Bar, there was a mural there of some people at a bar, but it had to be painted over because it did not meet Radnor code and was painted without permission. It seems a bottle remains (a last expression of rebellion?) on the wall.

The owners of the just told Radnor Patch that they are bringing back to life a formerly grand building that has sat empty for a few years—the former Villa Strafford on Strafford Avenue in Wayne.

According to the manager of the Kebob Factory, there will be a nice restaurant on the ground floor (not Indian cuisine, he noted) and a club on the second floor (not a dancing club, he also noted).
