Darby Paoli Road Bridge To Close

PennDOT has scheduled the closing of the bridge for Thursday and Friday for clean-up.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Darby Paoli Road Bridge in Radnor Township, Delaware County will be closed and detoured Thursday (Jan. 12) and Friday (Jan. 13) for cleaning operations.

The bridge closure schedule is:

• Thursday (Jan. 12) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Friday (Jan. 13) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the two day closure, northbound motorists will be detoured on Goshen Road, Route 252 (Newtown Street) and St. David’s Road.

PennDOT maintenance crews will work both days to remove tree limbs and debris from underneath the stone arch bridge.

The bridge is on Darby Paoli Road between Brooke and Newtown roads near the entrance to the Willows.
