Co-sponsored by the Radnor Conservancy, the Radnor Memorial Library, and the Radnor Historical Society Come laugh and learn about the history of Radnor's open space movement as told by a panel or pioneers who were at the forefront of the action.  Today, when the value of Radnor's open space is in question, this informative session will leave you with an understanding of a time when a generation joined together to preserve a cherished heritage for the people of Radnor Township. Stargazing at Eastern University Observatory

Tuesday, February 14, 6:30 PM  Bradstreet Observatory at Eastern University Join us for a stellar opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the winter night sky and to learn about the celestial research being conducted at the University.  Please note: the facility is not handicapped-accessible.  For adults and children over age 7 only please. Co-sponsored by the Radnor Conservancy, Jenkins Arboretum and the Radnor Memorial Library Because our gardens are part of the terrestrial ecosystems that sustain humans and the life around us, we must keep them in working order. Dr. Doug Tallamy, author of the best-selling book Bringing Nature Home: How You Can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants, will discuss the important ecological roles of the plants in our landscapes, emphasize the benefits of designing gardens with these roles in mind, and explore the consequences of failing to do so. Gardening in this crowded world carries both moral and ecological responsibilities that we can no longer ignore.
