1.) After beating Devon/Strafford 7-2 on Saturday, the Radnor/Wayne 9-10 year old little league baseball team will play Coventry tonight at 6 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the District 27 tournament. With a win, Radnor/Wayne will advance to play a semifinal game Thursday at their home field.

2.) Larger and somewhat better compensated baseball players will also go at it tonight, as Cliff Lee and the Phillies open a three game series with the Boston Red Sox at 7:05 in what many expect will be a preview of the World Series.

3.) Tonight at 7 p.m. in their Woodcrest Mansion, Cabrini College will host a public information session re their plans to open a main entrance on Eagle Road across from Eastern College. Concerns have been raised that such an entrance would be dangerous.

4.) Tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the township will host a free at the municipal building. Main Line Health, Radnor Township Board of Health, Wayne Senior Center, Narberth Ambulance, Radnor Township Police, Radnor Fire Company, Radnor Conservancy, Surrey Services and other organizations will have representatives on hand.

5.) On the weather front, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout the afternoon and evening, but tomorrow through the early part of the weekend, weather.com is calling for blue skies.
