1.) Police are asking for help identifying the perpetrator of an armed robbery that took place at a Wayne Wawa early this morning. The man is approximately 30-years-old, six feet tall, and of a medium build.

2.) The perpetrator drove off in a non-descript silver SUV. Based on his route of escape, police thinks there's a chance he lives locally.

3.) While police issued a warning that residents and shop keepers should be suspicious of anyone wearing a hooded sweatshirt during the summer, they added that there hasn't been a robbery at that location in five years (though there was recently a knife-point robbery on Sugartown Road).

5.) During a meeting last night, the Delaware County Council formally approved it's new animal control service deal with the SPCA. The deal, which will run for six months, allows for a new animal control facility to be built in Darby Township. Click for the whole story.
