Five Things to Know Today -- Monday

Today: stormwater and financial reports, tan cats looking for homes, free state parks app and a library giving away books store gift cards.

"Five Things to Know Today" is a Radnor Patch feature published every day that provides a quick heads up on what's happening.

1. Chagrin Valley Engineers have submitted their final stormwater report to . The report can be reviewed on the township’s website. The plan will be formally presented by Chagrin at a future Board of Commissioners meeting.

3.   There is a on this month at Delaware County’s SPCA.

4.   The Official PA State Parks and Forests Guide—Pocket Ranger—is a free mobile application for Apple and Android platforms created by Parks by Nature in cooperation with DCNR and the Pa Parks and Forests Foundation. Search by activity, park, forest or region; stay current on park and forest events; receive news and alerts; view maps of facilities, trails and campgrounds; and learn about state park or forest history. Each app downloaded or purchased will result in a donation to the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation for projects in state parks.

5. On August 11 join Delaware County Library System librarians on Facebook to get suggestions on what to read. Participants will be entered to win a Barnes & Noble gift card.
