1.   This year’s Devon Horse Show and Country Fair starts today. General admission tickets are: $8 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, and $5 for senior citizens over 65. An 11-Day General Admission Pass costs $50 and provides entrance to the Horse Show and Fair for the entire eleven days. More ticket information and purchasing is available online.

2.   Xilantro on North Wayne Avenue is set to open next week, according to a source. The 70-seat Mexican restaurant and tequila bar will feature Chef Juan Pablo Quiroz's progressive and authentic Mexican fare.  Patch will get our restaurant reviewer out to Xilantro as soon as possible. 3.   The Delaware County SPCA is in need of Dawn soap, Clorox wipes, chicken broth, dog treats and big and small towels. The shelter is located at 555 Sandy Bank Road in Media.

5.   Tredyffrin Public Library, 582 Upper Gulph Road in Strafford, will hold a Friends’ Book Sale on Saturday, June 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 5,000 books will be for sale. The one-day book sale is sponsored by The Friends of Tredyffrin Public Library who operate the Red Fox Book Shop, a resale store on the lower level of the library.
