1.   The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission recently launched an online survey to learn how a cashless, All-Electronic Toll collection system would impact customers and operations. If you are a cash paying customer, visit their web site to learn how AET works and take the online survey for a chance to win a $100 gas card.

2.   Robert Groebel, Professional Education Director for Shire Pharmaceuticals and a resident of Radnor, has been honored with Shire’s CEO Award, the company's highest employee recognition. The annual award recognizes the extraordinary individuals and teams who achieve outstanding outcomes. Groebel was among eight individuals and three teams recognized from Shire's 4,100 employees around the world.

3.   If you want to make a donation to help in his recovery, you can make a tax-deductible donation to NTAF Mid-Atlantic Traumatic Brain Injury Fund.

4. The Radnor Police Department issued a crime alert for a commercial burglary that took place on Friday, July 29 at the Villanova Sunoco Stop and Shop at 807 East Lancaster Avenue in Villanova. Someone had forced entry into the building through a rear window and once inside, forced open cash registers. The perpetrator took cash from the register and fled. The burglary occurred at about 4:45 a.m. and Radnor Detectives continue to investigate this crime.
