1.   The first electronic recycling event when nearly everything with a power cord will be accepted will be held Friday, June 17, by the Delaware County Solid Waste Authority at Delaware County Community College. Read about it here.

2. This year, Radnor High School is marking its 115th commencement and will celebrate the graduation of its 315 seniors throughout the next weeks with these events:

3.   Reader Jane Golas provided us with a puzzling detour in the 100 block of West Wayne Avenue in downtown Wayne. Golas’ photo shows the warning of a “detour ahead” eastbound, but it’s on a one-way westbound street. Plus, Golas said, the apparently unnecessary signs block the sidewalk.

4.   A large amount of pianos and keyboards are for sale at Eastern University. A general public sale will take place Sunday, June 12 from 12 to 5 p.m. in Workman Hall, the music building on campus.

5.   Radnor, Tredyffrin and Easttown townships are sponsoring Healthy Yards, Healthy Streams, an educational event about managing your property in an environmentally sustainable way. The event is Thursday, June 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Easttown Library, 720 First Avenue, Berwyn.
