It's World Breastfeeding Week

How much do you know about the way that millions of babies are nourished around the globe?

Radnor Patch is marking World Breastfeeding Week every day this week with interviews and information on breastfeeding.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization recommend exclusively breastfeeding a baby for the first six months or his or her life. Still, many mothers breastfeed (and mix in some solid foods) into the baby's second year of life and fewer continue into the child's third year of life.

In these videos, lactation consultant Robin Frees explains some of the benefits of breastfeeding and how long it is recommended that they breastfeed.
