Local Businesses, Residents Mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Events in and around Radnor are part of a national movement.

During the month of October in Philadelphia, the lights of Liberty One and Liberty Two and dozens of other buildings turn pink to symbolize the fight against breast cancer and to raise awareness for the cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The spirit of awareness, those fighting cancer and those fighting for the cause spreads well past the city limits, through the Main Line and western suburbs.

Over the years, many local businesses in the region have found ways to support Breast Cancer Awareness. During October 2011, those businesses and residents will again come together to help support the cause and the mothers, sisters and wives it affects every year by raising awareness and funds through events and activities all around the Main Line and throughout the country.
