NWS: Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Delco

A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday, according to the NWS.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather alert for much of the area, including Delaware County until about 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

The storms were predicted to be in Yardley and Woodside at 3 p.m. and moving toward Delaware County, according to NWS.

A flood advisory is also in effect until 4:30 p.m. Sunday with radar predicting thunderstorms that could produce 1 to 2 inches of rain in an hour, according to the NWS.
