NWS: Wind Advisory For Region

Strong winds are expected until 6 p.m. Friday

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for Friday morning until 6 p.m. Friday for Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks and the surrounding counties.

Winds are expected to be between 20 to 25 mph per hour, with gusts up to around 45 mph, warns the NWS.

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Windy, with a west wind around 26 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Breezy, with a west wind between 15 and 24 mph.

The NWS warns that the strong winds can possibly bring down tree limbs, as well as trees themselves, and power may go out.
