Sunny and Windy, Highs Near 70 for Thursday

The National Weather Service is predicting mild temperatures with chances of rain in the late afternoon.

Get ready for a taste of spring-like temperatures as highs are predicted to soar near 70 degrees Thursay.

According to the National Weather Service, a strong, southwesterly flow ahead of an advancing cold front will cause the temperatures to rise into the 60s. Although temperatures will be very warm for this time of year, they warn, no records will be broken.

Winds will gust over 25mph at times during the afternoon. And precipitation associated with the advancing front should hold off in most areas until after sunset, while western locations may experience rain showers during the late afternoon.
