See Inside 'Sunny High,' A 'Significant' Wayne Home

Many of the original features remain of the 1902 property, which has only had three owners.

"Sunny High" at 298 South Aberdeen Avenue in Wayne has been a house that I have wanted to see since I was young.

I was finally able to visit it last week and found that it is a warm and unique Wayne property. It is on the market for $3.95 million.

Sitting high atop Aberdeen Avenue, "Sunny High" is unique in that it is a "Walk to Wayne" property, but where it's situated also makes it quiet and private. Personally, I appreciated the original pocket doors, the five fire places, the amount of natural light and the flow that the house has. It was originally a summer home, and that "flow" from room to room shows that history.

If you like old homes like I do, you'll appreciate the back stairwell, elevator and attic, which could be renovated for move living space.

The home sits on more than five acres. It has six bedrooms. An orchard on another tax parcel is included in the sale.
