What's Open on Columbus Day

Read what's open in the Radnor Patch area on this federal holiday.

Columbus Day remembers Italian explorer Christopher Columbus’ long journey across the Atlantic Ocean to the “New World." The voyage was victorious when land was first spotted on Oct. 12, 1492.

While some offices and services closed down for the holiday, many shops and schools do not.

  • Radnor Township's municipal building will remain open on Monday. Radnor's Board of Commissioners meeting will take place Monday at 7 p.m.
  • UPS and FedEx in Wayne will be open.
  • Radnor Township School District schools will be open. So will St. Katharine of Siena School.
  • Villanova University, Eastern University and Valley Forge Military Academy and College will be open.

Do you have or know of a business or service that is open or closed on Monday? Tell us in the comments below.
