Whiz Kid: Trent Dillon

The student athlete will graduate with six varsity letters.

Every week Radnor Patch spotlights the accomplishments of local children and teenagers. Nominations for the Whiz Kid of the Week can come from local schools, churches, scouts, youth groups or any individual and can be for a variety of scholastic, athletic or service-oriented deeds. This week’s “Whiz Kid” is Trent Dillon, a senior at Radnor High School.

Accomplishment: The honor students has belonged to the National Honor Society and has served as captain of the ultimate frisbee team and assistant captain of the ice hockey team at school.

Trent is also a member of DEVYL regional Ultimate frisbee youth team, a group in Philadelphia and New Jersey, that won a national title 2010, and was selected captain of that team for 2011.

Key to Awesomeness: Nominator (and dad) David Dillon says that Trent's unwaivering sense of commitment caries him far. (That and he's currently making Bell's Palsy look good.)
