Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Please join me in supporting Susan Stern's candidacy to become a member of the Radnor Township School Board. I have had the pleasure of knowing Susan for almost 10 years, and during that time she has demonstrated a proficiency and thoughtfulness that prepare her perfectly for the work of a School Board Director. Susan is a political moderate who will not bring partisan fervor to the School Board. Having had her own children in both private and Radnor public schools, she offers a valuable perspective as the District designs its next Strategic Plan. Susan Stern is not the kind of candidate who develops a sudden interest to run for local office at the beginning of election season. She's been tuned into School Board issues for many years. For example, she has been a keen observer of Act 1 and its impact on public education funding since it was enacted in 2006. There are few residents in our community who have followed this law as closely as Susan Stern. Having served on the Township Planning Commission, she appreciates the interplay between community planning and public education. And she appreciates the process of local government. One of the most impressive traits that I've noticed about Susan Stern is that if she offers constructive criticism, she also always offers a constructive solution. She focuses on the issues, and not on the personalities.
