I’m supporting Susan Michaelson for re-election to the Radnor School Board because of her fiscally responsible voting record: My property tax bill is much higher than near-by townships, and most of it goes to the schools.  Yes I want Radnor to have excellent schools, but I do not want to contribute to another year of a multi-million dollar surplus, nor do I want to pay for all day kindergarten for many people who can afford to pay for this new service. The latter is clearly a case of a non-democratic process that allowed a select few to benefit at the expense of the many  taxpayers and if this decision was put to a taxpayer vote it would not have never been approved.

Susan Michaelson along with Dave Falcone, Martin Heldring, and Jim Link are the only ones who are eager to put a stop to excessive school-board spending.  She has been trying for several years to call the Board to practice good government – taxing only what’s needed, and doing the research before making decisions. We need new people on the School Board who represent all of Radnor: the students and the taxpayers.  I normally vote for Democrats, but not for the school board.
