1st Annual Chester County Kidney Walk

First Annual Chester County Kidney Walk Set for October 20 at Wilson Farm Park

Chesterbook, PA- Sunday, October 20th marks the kick-off of the first annual Chester County Kidney Walk. Patients, friends, family, and businesses unite around the common goal to help end kidney disease.

The NKF Kidney Walk is an inspiring, noncompetitive stroll 
around Wilson Farm Park to raise funds to combat kidney disease and advance the NKF’s mission of awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease. Of the 26 Million Americans- 1 in 9 adults –who have chronic kidney disease don’t know.  High blood pressure, diabetes, or 
a family history of these conditions can put anyone at risk of developing 
kidney disease.

The NKF will welcome over 500 people joining together 
to raise $75,000 for local kidney patients and the prevention of kidney 
disease. The Walk provides a great opportunity for people of all ages to learn about kidney disease, strengthen the support system of those who fight with the disease, and spread awareness to help those who could be at risk.
