Fall Member's 2013 Exhibition

September 15 through October 12, 2013

The Wayne Art Center's Fall Members' 2013 Juried Exhibition will be featured from September 15th through October 12th in the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery. Each year, the Wayne Art Center recognizes the artistic achievements of its members. The exhibition will feature paintings, drawings, sculpture, stained glass, ceramics, jewelry and works on paper by members of the art center. This year's juror will be Patrick Connors. Patrick is a 1980 graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Certificate Program. His work is exhibited internationally and in the past decade has been in solo or group venues at the National Academy of Design, New York Academy of Art, and Butler Institute of American Art among others. He teaches in the Graduate School of the New York Academy of Art, Grand Central Academy of Art, Institute of Classical Architecture, Studio Incamminati, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Delivery of Artwork: Saturday, September 7th and Monday, September 9th, 10AM-4PM Pick Up of Declined Work: Thursday, September 12th, 10AM-5PM Sales: Sale of artwork is encouraged but not required. In the event of a sale, Wayne Art Center will retain a 40% commission. Works not for sale will be marked NFS, but no works will be marked 'price on request'. Artists will set their own prices for their work, and no price may be changed after drop-off. Preview Reception & Awards Ceremony: The Exhibition will open to the public and the Wayne Art Center community on Sunday, September 15th from 3-5PM. Award winners will be announced at the opening reception. Additional invitations will be available to artists at artwork drop-off.

Artwork Pick-Up: Sunday, October 13th, 12-5PM & Monday, October 14th, 10AM-8PM Please Note - No artwork will be insured after October 14th, 2013
