DAVID FOX PAINTING EXHIBITION at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens in Devon

Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens is pleased to announce an
exhibition of the colorful and iconic paintings of David Fox.



January 24 – February 23, 2014 from 9am – 4pm daily in
the John J. Willaman Education Center

Artist’s Gallery Talk: A Painter’s Brush: Saturday, January
25, 2pm



 Exhibition: David Fox is a self-taught artist who has
been drawing and painting most of his life. He paints in oils, acrylics, and
watercolors and also does pen and ink sketches. His subject matter includes
Philadelphia and New York scenes, landscapes, still life compositions, children
by the sea, house portraits, and abstract compositions. Notice the elements of
horticulture in many of David’s paintings. He usually paints in his studio from
photographs or imagination. He has worked as an architect and has lived in
Narberth for a number of years. His work is often on display at Sweet Mabel
Folk Art and Fine Art Gallery in Narberth.

 Gallery Talk:  Narberth artist David Fox will
show paintings and drawings, not in the current exhibit, that relate to his
process in the creation of his paintings.



 Exhibition, Opening Reception and Gallery Talk are free
