Eastern University Music Gala Benefit Concert April 4 at Kimmel Center

The Eastern University Music Department presents its 11th Annual Music Gala Benefit Concert on Friday, April 4, at 7:30 PM. This year the concert will be held at the Kimmel Center, Perelman Theater, in celebration of the inauguration of Eastern University's 9th president, Dr. Robert G. Duffett. The Gala will feature the Eastern Piano Quartet (Ron Matthews, David Bryant, James Correnti, Erikson Rojas) , Pro Christo Brass, the University Choir, and Music faculty and students. 
Proceeds from the Gala Concert benefit the Music Department's international projects and new music facilities. 
The Kimmel Center is located at 1500 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

Music with a Mission
The mission of the Music Department is to explore, perform, and teach music in a Christian context and to assist students in developing music appreciation and skills for local and global music ministry. This is achieved through the integration of spiritual formation with historical, techical and multicultural approaches that emphasize expressive art forms in community.
