The local Christian Science churches sponsor public service talks on subjects relating to God, spirituality and prayer. This fall the talk will be given on Saturday, November 17th, 2pm at Radnor Memorial Library. The title is "Has Technology Made God and Spirituality Obsolete?". The speaker is Mary Alice Rose from Brookville, MD. Mary Alice had a 20-year background in different areas of applied physical science. Her work ranged from being a meteorologist for the National Severe Storms Laboratory to a manager developing the ground system for the Hubble Space Telescope. As interesting as her career was, Rose found she wanted to focus on her most rewarding scientific endeavor, exploring her relationship with God. In 2002 she made the transition from manager, engineer and earth scientist to the full time ministry as a Christian Science practitioner. She is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
