Holiday at the Willows

Did Someone Say Fireworks in December?  Blast into the Holiday Season with Radnor Recreation’s Holiday at the Willows presented by TD Bank!

Join the Radnor Township Recreation & Community Programming Department on Sunday, December 9th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for Holiday at the Willows presented by TD Bank.  Held at the historical Willows Mansion, 490 Darby-Paoli Road, Villanova, Holiday at the Willows is a wonderful family-friendly special event that has become an annual staple during the holiday season!

Holiday at the Willows will feature crafts and face painting with the Radnor Township Girls Scouts, music, live entertainment, refreshments, a fireworks finale, and more.  This event is so popular that even Santa Claus himself stops by!  Have your photo taken with Santa and make your own take home frame.  NEW for 2012, Holiday at the Willows will conclude with a fireworks finale display over Willows Park.  Join us for the entire event or just come for the hot chocolate and fireworks!  You can view the display from the Mansion or in the park, either way it is a sight you won’t want to miss!

The event’s entertainment will feature a special appearance by David Darwin, America’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist and Philadelphia native.  Darwin presents a laugh-a-minute, family-friendly show of juggling, sideshow, and comedy.  He will keep you riveted with amazing feats and thrill you with whip cracking, plate spinning, lasso, ball spinning, and more!  Also performing will be the sensational Al Grout!  Audiences from small children to senior citizens will enjoy Grout’s performance of the most difficult and entertaining juggling being done today.  His fast paced show and witty humor makes this performing artist the top in family entertainment!

During Holiday at the Willows, the Radnor Elementary School Winter Wonder Project will be hosting their annual toy drive.  Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be accepted.  Toys will be given to abused, neglected, and developmentally delayed children living below the poverty line as holiday gifts.
