Heralded as the definitive documentary on the issue of UFOs and government cover-up, "Out of the Blue," presents unexplained cases from around the world, investigates 50 years of official contradictions and denials, and puts forth possible reasons for secrecy. Main Line Mutual UFO Network screens this film Tuesday, January 15 at Tredyffrin Public Library, 582 Upper Gulph Road, Strafford, PA at 6:30 pm. The public is invited free of charge.
Narrated by Peter Coyote, and directed by filmmaker and UFO researcher James Fox, "Out of the Blue" features Governor Fife Symington (witness to the Phoenix Lights in 1997), Dr. Edgar Mitchell, astronaut, cosmonaut Major General Pavel Popovich, UK Admiral Lord Hill Norton, President Gerald Ford, astronaut Colonel Gordon Cooper and White House Chief of Staff John Podesta.
While some claim that this is "old news" (the film debuted in 2003,) the issue remains "hot" for UFO enthusiasts. On December 7, 2012, when asked if he was presented with a folder on extraterrestrials along with Russia's nuclear codes, new Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of Russia answered off-air that reporters could screen "Men in Black." Reuters translated the TV interview, alluding to the US comedy, "Men in Black," not realizing that Medvedev referred to a Russian documentary, "Men in Black" on the earthly presence of extraterrestrials. The flap is described at http://exopolitics.org/?p=799.
