Charlie Hunter will lead a three day painting class, with a focus on architectural landscape. Hunter describes his work as drippy portraits of rotting American infrastructure. His painting process involves careful observation, preliminary sketching and use of a muted, earth-toned palette in water-mixable oil. Hunter is the recipient of numerous plein air painting awards and was the subject of a feature in the Fall, 2012 issue of PLEIN AIR Magazine. He exhibits in galleries across the US, with his work viewable on line at www.hunter-studio.com.
