Community Corner

Radnor Township's 2nd Annual Wheels of Wayne!

On Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, the Radnor Township Recreation and Community Programming Department and Main Line Land Rover, in cooperation with The Wayne Business Association, will present Wheels of Wayne.  This is a community event in the heart of Wayne featuring a variety of antique, classic, and custom cars and motorcycles, entertainment, a DJ, food, prizes, and more for the whole family!  Last year's event tallied over 3,000 in attendance!  In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Sunday, May 4th.

The event will take place along North Wayne Avenue between Lancaster Avenue and West Avenue.  North Wayne Avenue will be closed and other roads in the area will be affected.  The 2014 footprint may be expanded for more space.  More details about the road closures and the surrounding affected roads will be posted closer to the event date.

Vintage, classic, and exotic cars, trucks and motorcycles will line North Wayne Avenue in Downtown Wayne and compete for top prize in a variety of categories including Best Paint Job, Most Unique, Best Car, Best Motorcycle, and more!  Pre-registration before the event is required for participation.  Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.  The deadline to register is April 1st, unless otherwise noted.  All details are subject to change.  All years, makes, models, trucks, motorcycles, and green cars are welcome!
