Third Annual Heroes Breakfast -- American Red Cross of Chester County

The Chester County Heroes Breakfast recognizes heroes in Chester County who have saved lives, have committed selfless acts of courage and compassion, and exemplify the mission and qualities of the American Red Cross.  It is presented by the Chester County Leadership Council, a group of local professionals who volunteer to raise funds and awareness for the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania (SEPA).

The Leadership Council decided to highlight a unique aspect of the Red Cross' mission for the 2014 Heroes Breakfast: Service to the Armed Forces.  It is one of the Red Cross' five lines of service, which also include Disaster Responses, Preparedness and Health and Safety Programs, International Services, and Blood Services.

In its third year, the event will honor Ellen Barnes of the Coatesville Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, who has exhibited tremendous commitment to past and present members of our military in the Chester County community.
