Wayne Art Center: Winter Session of Classes Begin January 13th!

As the weather outside turns colder, take the opportunity to warm up inside the studios of the Wayne Art Center, while developing or expanding your artistic skills!  Students of all ages and ability levels are invited to join us for our Winter 2014 session of art, culinary & music classes.  Classes run 10-12 weeks, and will begin January 13th for adults and January 21st for children.

For teens (16 & up) and adults, we offer a full program of fine arts, drawing & painting, ceramics, jewelry and culinary arts classes. Morning (9:30AM-12:30PM), afternoon (1-4PM), and evening (6:30-9:30PM) classes are available weekly, Monday – Friday.  On Saturday mornings, you will find Adult/Teen Drawing & Painting, as well as Adult/Teen General Ceramics.  For those looking to focus on expanding their skills in a high energy and focused atmosphere with a short time commitment, we also offer both 2&3 day weekend workshops, and 4-Friday workshops in a variety of art media throughout each session. Most workshops meet 10AM-3PM each day.  All of our teachers are professional & award-winning artists, experts in their fields who truly enjoy sharing what they have learned in their years of experience with their students. 

For children & teens ages 2-15, we offer a fun & creative curriculum of classes - from Mommy & Me to drawing & painting, beginner clay, wheel throwing, jewelry alternatives, cartooning, cooking...and more!  Classes are available Monday-Saturday, with both daytime & after school options available.  Saturday afternoons are full of fun with a full schedule of family programs and workshop opportunities for children & teens.  Classes at the Wayne Art Center are a place where children of all ages are encouraged to expand their skills in a nurturing & supportive environment by teachers who are both professional educators as well as experts in their artistic fields.
