Devon Horse Show Raises $402,500 for Bryn Mawr Hospital

This year's horse show will be held from May 22 to June 1.

The chairs of the 2013 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair announced to volunteers on Wednesday that the 2013 fair had raised $402,500.

The fair benefits Bryn Mawr Hospital. Chairs Candy Guinan and Buttons Corkhill said that per the hospital's request, the following items will be purchased with the horse show donation:

  • seven neuro-cardiac Intensive Care Unit beds;
  • two Zoll biphasic defibrillators;
  • comprehensive breast center mammography workstation monitors;
  • and on the beautification of the labor and delivery area and patient lounge.
The check will be presented to Andi Gilbert, president of Bryn Mawr Hospital, at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Chairmen's Meeting on March 17 at St. David's Episcopal Church.

This year's horse show will be held from May 22 to June 1.
