Family Service Day at Riverbend

Bring the whole family and help us plant trees and shrubs at Riverbend!

Trees are critical to the health of the habitat at Riverbend.  Our trees manage stormwater, reduce erosion, protect and enhance the quality of the air and water on the property, provide food and shelter for wildlife, and make this place beautiful!  We recently received a TreeVitalize grant to plant 500 trees, 100 shrubs, and several hundred herbaceous plants over the next several months.  We need your help to make this transformation happen!

This is a great opportunity to involve your children in a meaningful and fun service project.  We will be planting trees and possibly doing other habitat work, such as weeding, mulching, etc. If you are interested in participating on May 7th, please rsvp to Jeanne Angell at jangell@riverbendeec.org .
