Wayne, PA --- Radnor will be rockin’ on Saturday, October 15, 2011 when local bands and local talent take to the stage at Mixx in Villanova, in support of the Radnor Educational Foundation.

Five local bands with strong ties to the community and the Radnor schools are donating their time and talent to “Radnor Rocks for REF,” a concert where all ticket proceeds will benefit the Radnor Educational Foundation.   Each band features Radnor parent or student performers.

Featured bands include (in order of appearance):

  • The Wednesday Campaign featuring Josh Klag, Radnor High School Class of 2014 and the 2011 winner of the RHS Battle of the Bands (7:00 PM)
  • DNR featuring Radnor parents Ric Andersen and Chic Spatacco (7:30 PM)
  • Ellie Perez, Radnor High School Class of 2012 (8:30 PM)
  • Angel Blue Band featuring Radnor parents Tom Kaney and Jan Epstein (9:00 PM)
  • Inferno featuring Ithan Elementary School teacher, Deb Keyser and Radnor parent Eric Schreiber (10:00 PM)

“Radnor Rocks for REF” tickets are $20 pre-event or $25 at the door.  Purchase tickets via PayPal at www.radnoreducationalfoundation.org. Doors open at 7:00 PM.

All proceeds benefit the Radnor Educational Foundation’s efforts to work with Radnor teachers, administrators; PTO’s and parents in identifying and funding extracurricular enhancements that foster Radnor’s dynamic learning environment.
