The .91 acre parcel on the corner of Conestoga and Sproul roads in Villanova may be in the process of being sold.

Radnor Patch noticed recently that property has been cleaned up (see photos) and looking better than it has in years. Radnor Township's Director of Community Development Kevin Kochanski confirmed that to his knowledge a transfer of ownership is taking place.

In 2006, O'Neill Properties Group, based in King of Prussia, presented a sketch plan to build 24 townhouses on this property and the one adjacent. The plan met resistence and never took off.

In fact, nothing has taken off there in years except for a Pennsylvania Lottery commerical with Gus the Groundhog.

It is zoned commercial, which includes:

  • personal service shop, such as barbershop, beautician or clothes-cleaning,
  • retail service shop, such as bakery, candy, ice cream or similar shop; custom tailoring or millinery shop; clock, watch or jewelry shop; radio, television or household appliance repair shop.
