House Wins Best Decorated

In the second annual house decorating contest, judges appreciated creativity.

The second annual holiday decorating contest for homes along the horse drawn carriage route in South Wayne took place Monday.

This home, on Runnymeade Avenue, was awarded best decorated by the judges.

The judges were Diane Jiorle, president of the Wayne Business Association, Anita Sayers of the Radnor Hotel, architect Maurice Weintraub, and Sam Strike, Radnor Patch editor.

The WBA will make a donation to the charity of the winner’s choice.

The carriage rides are part of the December 2 Old Fashioned Christmas from the Wayne Hotel and Wayne Business Association.

The contest was open to residents of Lansdowne, Audubon, South Wayne and Runnymede avenues.
