AFP Rallies Delco Election Volunteers

Hurricane Sandy's imminent arrival did not deter AFP volunteers from rallying in Media before heading out to knock on doors throughout Delaware County for US Senate candidate Tom Smith.

Saturday, October 27, 2012. Americans For Prosperity volunteers gathered at a "get-out-the-vote" event this morning in Media before heading out to knock on doors and make phone calls in Radnor and throughout Delaware County supporting Tom Smith for the U.S. Senate as well as the Romney/Ryan ticket.

After being treated to a tasty breakfast buffet, including an omelet bar, and being serenaded by the Mummers All-Stars, the group heard from special guests Tony Katz & Byron Donalds, who spoke about the importance of economic freedom, limited government, and lower regulations.

AFP State Director Jennifer Stefano thanked the group for donating their time and staying focused throughout this long election cycle. "It all comes down to turnout, and November 6th will be our opportunity to elect politicians committed to protecting our individual freedoms and reigning in the wretched excesses of government we've seen over the past four years."
