St. David's Episcopal Church to Host 160th Church Fair and Country Auction

It is one of the longest standing country fairs in the nation.

St. David's Episcopal Church in Wayne will be hosting its 160th Church Fair and Country Auction on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  As one of the longest standing country fairs in the nation, the event will be held rain or shine on the grounds of the 18th century stone church at 763 Valley Forge Road in Wayne.

What began as a simple way to bring people in the community together back in the mid-1800s, has grown into a Main Line tradition of charming attractions and family fun for all ages – each year drawing more than 4,000 people from the church and its surrounding communities.

For the kids, there's a moon bounce, pony rides, a 6-hole miniature golf course, an obstacle course, midway games, and much more. The entire family will enjoy goodies from McDavid's grill, the old-fashioned cider press and the many booths filled with sweets. Find trinkets and treasures at the fair's popular flea market, book tent and Second Hand Rose high-end resale clothing shop.
