Former Wayne Resident Dies at 37

A Memorial Service is Saturday, June 8.

 

Matthew T. McGloin, age 37, husband of Laureen Clemente McGloin, of Upper Providence, PA, formerly of Wayne, PA, died suddenly on Sunday morning, June 2, 2013 in his home. 

Born in Abington, PA, he was a son of Paul W. and Beverly A. (Madison) McGloin, of Phoenixville, PA.  He was a graduate of the Upper Merion High School, and the Drexel University with a degree in marketing and finance.  He worked in sales for the Ameri Source Bergen Corporation in Wayne, PA.  He was a member of the Rivercrest Golf Club and Preserve.  Matthew was a devoted husband and adored the time he spent with his two loving children.

In addition to his wife of 12 years and his parents, Mr. McGloin is survived by two children: Madison Rose and Carson Gary McGloin; two brothers: Christopher W., husband of Suzanne McGloin, of Blue Bell, PA; twin brother Sean M., husband of Alexis McGloin, of Bryn Mawr, PA; three nieces and one nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial service at the St. Ann's Roman Catholic Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 10:30 AM.  Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns.  Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Friends will be received from 9:00 - 10:15 Saturday morning in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the "Matthew T. McGloin Memorial Fund", C/O Wells Fargo Bank, 101 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.  This will be used to further the education of Madison and Carson.  The Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be made by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com
