Josephine Rose Clifton, 83, of Wayne

Josephine Rose "JoRose" (Kershner) Clifton, 83, of Wayne, PA, passed on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at home. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Clifton, who passed away in 2010.

Born in Roxboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Josephine (Bryson) Kershner.

JoRose was a cancer survivor and supporter of the American Cancer Society, a long standing Republican Committee Person, and was involved in Upper Merion Government affairs.

She loved reading, ceramics and Longaberger Baskets. JoRose was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to her family.

Son, Robert K. Clifton and wife Linda of Downingtown, PA;
Daughter, Claudia T. Trainer of Cape May Court House, NJ;
Daughter, Pamela R. Clifton of Wayne, PA;
Son, James G. Clifton and wife Sally of Devon, PA;
Daughter, JoRose wife of Gary Rawding of Chester Springs, PA;

Grandchildren, Rob, Kyle and Lou Clifton;
Jim and Carol Trainer;
Dave and Sam Williams;
Courtney, Callie and Juliana Clifton;
Jarret Field and Gannon Rawding;

Great-Granddaughter, Katie Rose Trainer;

Brother, Claude Kershner and wife Mary Ellen of Valley Forge, PA.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and James Kershner.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Burial will be private at the request of the family.
