John Mason Houston III was born in Wayne on December 18, 1917 to Wallace Boyd Houston and Josephine (Hunt) Houston.


Martin Hayes Hepburn, 54, spent more than 25 years at Enterprise Appraisal in Wayne, appraising both commercial and industrial properties for mergers and acquisitions, financing and tax appeals. After graduating from the Haverford School he moved to Ketchikan, Alaska seeking fortune and adventure in the fishing industry. Ultimately, he spent several summers during college as a cook on the fishing vessel Macaca out of Kodiak, Alaska, where he single handedly landed a 256 pound halibut on a hand line, according to this obituary.

Mary Kathryn Dixon, 94, of Rosemont, worked for 15 years as a volunteer in the "Green Room" at the Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Gabriel J. Donato, 84, was a member of the Italian American Club in Wayne.

Marianne McKernan Bjorseth, a proud graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova.

Gloria N. Rudolph, 87, was a 1944 Graduate of Radnor High School of Wayne.
