Radnor Grad Daniel Maxwell Burial Service Thursday

Dan Maxwell, 18 year old recent graduate of Radnor High School, died on July 21, 2013. He was the beloved son of Lee Maxwell and Laurie Burstein-Maxwell, and beloved brother of Samantha Maxwell.

At RHS he was a multi-sport varsity athlete and honor student.

A memorial service was held on July 25 at Temple Sholom in Broomall, attended by over 800 people. Commemorative speeches were given by loving friends, teammates, youth and varsity coaches; teachers and family members. A fierce competitor on the field, Dan was nevertheless a gentle and quiet young man off the field.

He had a great and kind heart, quiet dignity, sympathy for those in need, courage, and a refreshing sense of humor that often had his friends rolling on the floor with laughter.     

Burial service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 12 at Noon at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Frazer, 200 Moores Road Frazer, PA 19355.

Friends are welcome to return to the Maxwell home For a meal of consolation and celebration of his life: 401 Dartmouth Road Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.       

The Maxwell family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love that so many have expressed for Dan and the sorrow at his passing.  The family will never forget how the community rallied around them and have been loving them and sending prayers their way.  

May Dan's soul be bound up in the bond of life eternal andmay his family be comforted among the mourners.
