Services Set for Congressional Gold Medal Recipient

Corporal Thomas Strickland Turner Sr. died Thursday August 15 in his Devon home at the age of 88.

Corporal Thomas Strickland Turner Sr., Grand Marshal of this year's Radnor Township Memorial Day Parade and Congressional Gold Medal Recipient, died Thursday August 15 in his Devon home at the age of 88.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Mt. Zion AME Church, 380 N Fairfield Road in Devon. Visitation hours are from 8:00 am to 10:45 am.

Burial with full military honors will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940.
