Author Event with Ed Rendell

Radnor Historical Society partners with the Library to present our former governor's first book

On Tuesday, February 19 @ 7PM, Radnor Memorial Library and Radnor Historical Society are pleased to present an author event with former Governor of Pennsylvania (2003-2011) and former Mayor of Philadelphia (1992-2000) Edward G. Rendell. Because we would have to turn some folks away if it was scheduled for the Winsor Room, we have been granted use of the auditorium in Radnor Middle School across the street.

With the help of Anthony Stevenson, Leo Bernabei, Radnor School District and Radnor Township, we can very confidently guarantee you a seat at this exciting book talk...and even a place to park. Both the Louella Avenue and South Wayne entrances to the school will be open for you that night, as well as the parking lots at the school and the school district administration building.

After 34 years of public service, including 24 years as an elected official, Governor Rendell continues to pursue many of the same issues he was passionate about while serving. At the event, Governor Rendell will talk about his first book, A Nation of Wusses: How America's Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great. In his book, Rendell chronicles his storied political career with his trademark candor while making a strong statement about the state of Amercian leadership. Books will be available for purchase and registration is not required.
