Holiday Nature Craft Workshop for your family at Radnor Library
Sign up at the Library!
I hope you are feeling the calming effect of looking out that little window that we have right after Halloween but, still, days away from Thanksgiving. No pressure though, even though all the stores have belles on their doors and big red bows in their aisles. Really. If you need to just sit a while and not feel the holiday creeping up on you when it's not even Thanksgiving, come to Radnor Library. And you don't have to spend any money. The Community Garden Club of Wayne usually doesn't put our tree up for a few weeks...and we still have a pumpkin on display :).
On Sunday, December 11, 2:00-4:00pm, Radnor Memorial Library is hosting a new holiday nature craft workshop this year for families. It is a time to gather family members and come to the Library to make something unique and eco-friendly, using exquisite materials gathered from nature. Heather Potter, floral designer and owner of Cottage Flowers http://www.cottageflowersfloraldesign.com/about.html, located in Malvern, will provide the materials and assist you in your creations. Due to space limitations, the workshop is limited to no more than two children accompanied by one adult (does not have to be the parent). The Winsor Room can accomodate a total of 20 families. Please sign-up in person and pay $20 per family in advance to cover the cost of materials.
Now, pass the cranberries.
