Radnor Library Offers Free Class on Making the Most of Your Retirement Income

Smart Ways to Help Your Money Last!

On Thursday, October 13 at 7:30pm, Radnor Memorial Library has scheduled a free  class on retirement planning. Last year, we offered a class on converting to a Roth IRA presented by Jim Ernst and another class on estate and legacy planning presented by David Rankin. This fall, David will present the class on smart ways to help your retirement money last and discuss the crucial importance of employing the most tax-efficient investment strategies and tactics to help make the most of your retirement income. These classes are very informal, and personally, I think it's a good opportunity to ask important questions in a relaxed atmosphere. As an English major myself, I usually just sit and listen... hoping it will sink in. If you are interested in this class, then all you have to do is just come to the Winsor Room at Radnor Memorial Library. No registration is required.

Jim and David are Senior Partners at Mangan, Ernst & Rankin, of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in Radnor. MER is widely known for having spent 8 years hosting over 2000 live broadcasts of the the region's only daily local wealth management show on MoneyTalk 860AM WWDB. David is currently featured daily on KYW NewsRadio 1060, providing insights and commentary on today's economy and financial markets.

In the week following David's class, the Library will have more experts from the community here to talk about downsizing and clearing clutter. For more information on that event, go to my adult event blog for the Library at http://inwinsr.wordpress.com. Look under "upcoming events".
