$2,000 Stolen from Valley Forge Cadet

The cadet did not use the safe in his room, according to police.

 

A cadet at Valley Forge Military Academy reported that he had $2,000 in cash stolen from his dorm room throughout the month of January.

According to a police incident report, the cadet arrived on campus on Jan. 5 with $5,000 in cash, but was told by the school's staff that he was only allowed to have $35.

The cadet hid his cash around his room instead of using a safe, the report stated. The thefts were reported to police on Feb. 4 after the cadet turned the rest of his cash over to school officials.
