2009 PTO Embezzlement Allegation Emerges

Radnor Police say the alleged theft has been referred to the District Attorney's office.

Someone allegedly embezzled $40,000 from Radnor Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization in 2009, says a Philadelphia Magazine blog, Philly Post.

In the blog post, the writer quotes Radnor Police sergeant Andy Block as saying that the investigation into the allegation had been suspended because no one in the school organization was willing to make an official statement. (Yesterday at the Radnor polls I heard one very involved person say that that was absolutely untrue.)

The current Radnor Elementary School PTO responded to the blog post with a letter in Main Line Suburban Life.
