Police Release Sketch in Wayne Attempted Robbery

A victim was chased by one of four men early Tuesday morning at Conestoga and Lancaster.

An attempted strong-arm robbery took place early Tuesday morning on West Lancaster Avenue at Conestoga Road, according to the Radnor Township Police Department.

At 2:43 a.m. Radnor Police responded to a report of an attempted strong arm robbery that had occurred on West Lancaster Avenue at Conestoga Road in the Wayne section of the township. The victim stated that he was walking west on West Lancaster Avenue when he saw four men, described as two white men and two black men in their mid 20's, sitting on the corner of West Lancaster Avenue and Conestoga Road.

As the victim was walking past the corner, one of the white men approached the victim and demanded him to empty his pockets, according to police. The victim did not comply with the demand and ran from the perpetrator. The victim futher related to police that the perpetrator gave chase and stopped chasing him in front of the McDonald's restaurant at 516 West Lancaster Avenue.

When the victim arrived home he called 9-1-1 reporting the crime.  

The victim describes the perpetrator as a white men, about 6'5", thin build, with light brown hair.
