Bomb Threat Called in at Cabrini College

Police searched for an explosive device in the school's historic Woodcrest Hall.

On Sunday night, a man called Cabrini College and stated that a bomb was planted in the school's Woodcrest Hall, police said.

Radnor Police were notified to the threat after receiving a call Sunday at 9:45 p.m. for a report of a fire alarm. Police and Radnor Fire Co. were dispatched and responded.

The fire alarm was pulled after a phone call was received indicating that a bomb was in the building, according to police.

K9 Units from Folcroft and Trainer Borough Police Departments assisted Radnor in checking the building for incendiary devices, but none were found. The building was turned back over to Cabrini College administrators at 11:30 p.m. after the search of the building was completed, according to police.

The case remains under investigation.
