Cars Being Vandalized in Garrett Hill

Six incidents took place over a week's time.

The Radnor Police Department is reporting six incidents of criminal mischief to cars that took place in the Garrett Hill section of Radnor Township.

Several vehicles were vandalized between July 28 and August 4.

Police are investigating the following crimes:

  • On July 28, 2011 a resident in the 200 block of Bailey Road reported that their vehicle had been keyed during the overnight hours.
  • On August 2, 2011 a resident in the 200 block of Fitzwilliams Lane reported that between 8:30 PM on August 1, 2011 and 11:00 AM on August 2, 2011 a rock was thrown through the rear passenger window of their vehicle.
  • On August 4, 2011 one resident in the 200 block of Bailey Road and three residents in the 200 block of Fitzwilliams Lane reported that their vehicles were keyed during the overnight hours. 

All of the cars, with the exception of one, were parked on the street.  There was one parked in a driveway. 

Radnor Police ask that if you observe or hear any suspicious people or  activity in the above areas to contact 9-1-1 immediately initiating a police response so that officers may investigate the incident.

Police will be providing added patrols to area in an attempt to identify the individual(s) that are repsonsible for these recent acts of vandalism.
